Topics for Internships or Final Thesisses

As a growing research group of people who work interdisciplinary we are constantly searching for ambitious students to support us on our tasks.

What we have to offer:

  • profile: our qualified profile will give you the opportunity to develop further skills in the fields of mineral materials, sciences and methods of engineering. 
  • research: we will involve you directly in exciting research topics. You are welcome to take part in designing as well as executing experiments and in evaluating and preparing the scientific results. 
  • interdisciplinarity: to work in a team with Engineers, Chemists, Mineralogists and Geologists will provide you with a great insight into a widespread field of technical know-how.
  • networking: as we are cooperating with research facilities and companies on a regional as well as national and international level you will be granted the opportunity to work on practice-oriented questions and take part in highly innovative approaches in the field of material research. Moreover you will be able to improve your technical English skills while interacting with visiting scientists. 


Your profile:

  • basic knowledge: you possess of basic knowledge in the field of Civil Engineering, Material Sciences, Geology, Physics, Chemistry or Mineralogy.
  • interests: you are interested in developing and processing research topics in the area of mineral materials.
  • personality: you work in an independent, responsible, reliable and team-oriented manner.
  • methodology: ideally you already have experience in dealing with scientific and engineering research methods.
  • software: handling software packages such as MS office, Photoshop, AutoCad, possibly Origin etc. does not cause you any problems.
  • English: you have a good knowledge of the English language.
